It’s time to start using a blogging system that makes more sense than MSN’s funky service. Alghough I did appreciate being able to post so many photos, it really was a mess for my readers to navigate. I have heard great things about wordpress.com, so I am giving it a try and it seems great so far. It will also allow my friends and contacts in China to follow along (sorry to blogger.com blogs).
Although this blog will still share my experiences for those who know me to enjoy, I will also focus on issues facing China. The topics may be cultural, political, business-oriented, or anything that seems relevant.
I value everyone’s feedback and hope we can build a community that focuses on real and meaninful discussions. I value authenticity, candid talk, and a variety of opinions. Not everyone will love what I have to say, and I may not love what you have to say, but I will value your opinions and make sure they are published.
I look forward to the community this new project will create and hope it will benefit anyone wanting to understand China and how to engage with China in a constructive and profitable way (whatever type of profit you may be looking for).
Cheers (干杯)
